1.	Director Sri. R. Jesupadam	To assist the Government in formulation and implementation of academic related policies and plans of School and Teacher Education. To represent the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, at various National organizations, agencies and platforms on issues relating to School and Teacher Education. To co-ordinate with National and International level institutions on behalf of the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh for promotion of quality in education. To act as main link in transmission of day to day developments in the field of education to schools. To head and monitor the work of the academic and administrative wings of SCERT.
2.	Department of Teacher Education Sri.S.Pratap Reddy, Professor Sri.T.A.V.Tulasiram, Professor	To prepare, review and re-structure curricular framework for Pre-Primary, Elementary and Language Pandit teacher training courses. To monitor the Teacher Education institutions in the State for appraising their functioning and enhancing quality. To assist the Director, SCERT in framing and preparing policies relating to Teacher Education. To provide training to Teacher Educators to refresh their academic knowledge and skills. To organize seminars, conferences, etc. relating to Teacher Education To develop material on new concepts for use by Teacher Educators and Teacher Trainees. To co-ordinate with regional and national level institutions on issues relating to Teacher Education. To take up research studies on various issues of concern to School and Teacher Education.
3.	Department of Planning and Management Sri.K.Bramaiah, Professor	To collect information and develop data base relating to School and Teacher Education in Andhra Pradesh. To co-ordinate with all the departments of SCERT in preparation of annual plans under Plan and Non-Plan Schemes. To develop material and conduct training to Headmasters, MEOs and other personnel on Planning and Management. To extend resource support to national level institutions at state level on issues relating to status of School and Teacher Education. To prepare annual report of SCERT
4.	Department of Curriculum and Material Development Smt.T.Prameela, Professor Dr.N.Upender Reddy, Professor	To prepare State Curriculum Framework for classes I to X. To develop syllabus and text books based on the State Curriculum Framework for classes I to X. To develop Hand Books for elementary and secondary teachers on curriculum To conduct training programmes to teachers on curricular concepts. To keep in constant touch with the various institutions and agencies for keeping up to date knowledge of various developments for accommodating them in the curriculum. To conduct District / State / National level seminars, brain storming sessions, etc. on National and State Curriculum Framework related issues.
5.	Department of Evaluation and Research Smt.K.Krishnaveni, Professor	To develop and suggest new evaluation procedures and thereby recommend reforms in examination system. To conduct orientation and training programmes to teachers and other personnel concerned on evaluation procedures. To develop material relating to evaluation procedures for use by teachers and other personnel concerned. To conduct evaluative studies on various central and state level programmes and offer feedback/suggestions. To conduct studies to analyse the performance of teachers and students and identify the gaps. To evaluate school level text books and offer suggestions.
6	Department of Social Sciences Sri K.Yadagiri, Lecturer	To provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers on concepts relating to social studies. To provide resource support to the departments of Curriculum & Text books and Evaluation in development of curriculum, syllabus, text books, other related material and evaluation procedures relating to social studies for classes VI to X and EVS-I for classes I to V. To conduct research relating to social studies education at school level and suggest ways for improving To co-ordinate and collaborate with various state and national institutions for promoting quality in social studies education To conduct district and state level social studies fairs and seminars.
7	Department of Mathematics Education Dr. S. Suresh Babu, Lecturer	To provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers on concepts relating to Mathematics. To provide resource support to the departments of Curriculum & Text books and Evaluation in development of curriculum, syllabus, text books, other related material and evaluation procedures relating to for classes I to X . To conduct research relating to Mathematics education at school level and suggest ways for improving To co-ordinate and collaborate with various state and national institutions for promoting quality in Mathematics education. To conduct Mathematics Olympiad to secondary school students.
8	Department of Physical Science Education Sri.S.Vijay Kumar Professor	To provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers on concepts relating to Physical Science. To provide resource support to the departments of Curriculum & Text books and Evaluation in development of curriculum, syllabus, text books, other related material and evaluation procedures relating to Physical Science for classes VI to X and EVS-II for classes I to V. To conduct research relating to Physical Science education at school level and suggest ways for improving To co-ordinate and collaborate with various state and national institutions for promoting quality in Physical Science education To conduct District, State, Regional and National level Science seminars, fairs and exhibitions.
9	Department of Bi0logical Science Education Dr.L.Vijaya Kumari Professor	To provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers on concepts relating to Biological Science. To provide resource support to the departments of Curriculum & Text books and Evaluation in development of curriculum, syllabus, text books, other related material and evaluation procedures relating to Biological Science for classes VI to X and EVS-II for classes I to V. 10	Department of Indian Languages Sri.K.Sahadevudu Professor	To provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers on concepts relating to Telugu, Hindi and Urdu. To provide resource support to the departments of Curriculum & Text books and Evaluation in development of curriculum, syllabus, text books, other related material and evaluation procedures relating to Telugu, Hindi and Urdu for classes I to X. 11	Department of English	To provide training to elementary and secondary school teachers on concepts relating to English language. To provide resource support to the departments of Curriculum & Text books and Evaluation in development of curriculum, syllabus, text books, other related material and evaluation procedures relating English language for classes I to X. 12	Department of Population and Adolescence Education Dr. A.Rajeshwar Rao Professor
13	Department of ICT and Documentation Sri.Raghavulu Professor	To generate content and develop pre recorded video lessons for school and teacher education for telecast on Mana T.V. To conduct audio and video screening test for teachers and teacher educators for identifying them for giving lessons through pre recorded and live transmission modes. To develop e-learning material for school and teacher education. To develop syllabus, course ware, training manual for conducting training to academic and non academic staff of Department of School Education on use of computers. To promote participation of teachers and teacher educators i To develop material for and organize advocacy programmes to field functionaries, headmasters, parents, community leaders and students. 14	Department of IED Sri.K. Jayachandra Kumar Deputy Director	To assist the department of school education policies in framing policies relating to integrated and inclusive education. To develop material, methods and programmes for use in integrated/inclusive set up. To co-ordinate with various national and international institutions working in the area of integrated/inclusive education for promotion of the same. To train the teachers and other personnel to work in integrated /inclusive set up. To take up research on issues relating to integrated/inclusive education and suggest ways for successful implementation of the same.
15	Department of Creative Arts/Health & physical Education	To promote creative arts / health and physical education among school children by Identifying creative art activities suitable for school age population Identifying health related concepts and suggest ways and for sensitizing students (class / age wise) towards their importance Identifying age wise activities for good physical fitness of students To co-ordinate with national level institutions for promotion of creative arts, health and physical education in schools To provide training to teachers and teacher educators on concepts and methods relating to creative arts, health an physical education
16	Administrative Section Sri Md. Nazeemuddin, Administrative Officer	To head the four sections of administrative wing i.e. establishment(A Section), Sections coordinating with the academic departments (B & D Sections) and Accounts(C Section) and assist the Director, SCERT in monitoring their work.
